Orphanage Support in Luhansk Region

Providing food and shelter for internally displaced people and foster families with orphans in the Luhansk region.

Thirty-three orphans living in family-type orphanages lost their homes twice during the Russian invasion of 2014. In March 2022, these orphans once again lost their homes in Lysychansk, Luhansk, and were forced to hide in a basement for three weeks.

As they were evacuated, they came under fire in the city of Lyman, and together with their foster families, had to seek shelter once more in basements. In April, they finally reached the city of Izmail, Odessa, where they have been housed in a student dormitory.

Our NGO partner "CLASS", supported by your donations, has already equipped the kitchen with new appliances and completed a lot of repair work.

Your continued donations will support three orphans attending the Izmail State University for the Humanities. They need rooms to live in at the dormitory, which are currently in very poor condition. Your donations will supply building materials and specialists to make repairs, fit a new bathroom (install a toilet, washbasin and repair the shower), equip the rooms with furniture, and install a kitchen so that they can cook for themselves.
